Camp Driftwood has 8 clean, comfortable cottages with fully equipped kitchens, automatic heat, hot showers and TV.  We provide year round rentals and cater to short term and long term stays, providing a discounted rate for longer stays.

Our cottages are "housekeeping" units, fully equipped except for your personal choice of housekeeping detergents and scouring pads.  No broilers are provided.  Guests are welcome to bring a hibachi or grill for outdoor on-ground use.

We have a reputation for our immaculate cottages.  Our guests expect this!  We expect to find each cottage neat upon guests departure - including all dishes washed, dried and replaced on the shelves.

The Pittsburg area offers much to do for year round activities.  We welcome snowmobilers, hunters, fishermen, leaf peepers or need to get away from the regular routine and just relax.  Pittsburg is the home of "Moose Alley" where many cruise along Route 3 to see the many moose that roam in our area.

We regrettably ask that pets vacation with a kennel or friend.  In spite of this policy, from time to time, guests arrive with "man's best friend".  Any guest arriving with a dog will be charged a minimum of $15 per day and must be under supervision at all times.  Cottage and bedding must pass our inspection prior to departure.  All droppings must be removed from grounds by pet's owner.  Guest must assume all responsibility for any damage done by any pet, including extra laundry and cleaning involved.  Any pet causing a disturbance or problem of any kind will be required to leave, and all costs satisfied!  We like dogs, but not all dogs are "flea free"; nor have they learned respect for flower gardens and aging household kittycats. {*There is no charge for any trained dog accompanying a guest who is visually or otherwise handicapped} 

Recycling has been mandated and the Town Dump, where folks used to be able to view native black bear has been closed.  We draw the line at going through our guests' garbage and sorting same.  We are sure all can understand the reasons.  We have made every attempt to make sorting and recycling easy for our guests.

Cottages 1 & 2 have one double bed and one single bed.
Cottages 3, 4, 5, & 7 have two double beds and one single bed.
Cottages 6 and 8 have one double bed and three single beds.

We are easy to find, about 3.5 miles north of Pittsburg Village - right on U.S. Route 3 and Back Lake.  Yes, we own to the water's edge.  Our cottages are uphill from the lake shore, offering panoramic views of the lake and glorious sunsets!  Be sure to bring your camera.  You may well photograph a moose or deer along the roadside, loons in our cove, or wild mallards on the shore.  Guests may feed the wild ducks on Driftwood's shore.
Need to register your boat?  Before you hit the water, we can register it for you!  We also offer Fishing/Hunting Licenses.
